Ingredients

• apples
• pie dough or puff pastry
• sugar
• cinnamon
• lemon juice
• butter

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Core and thinly slice apples. Toss apple slices with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon.
3. Roll out pie dough or puff pastry and cut into strips.
4. Arrange apple slices on the strips of dough, overlapping slightly, to resemble a rose.
5. Roll up the dough with apples inside to form a rosette shape and place in a muffin tin.
6. Dot with small pieces of butter on top of each rosette.
7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
